Short Biography

Christoph Tribowski (born in 1981) studied information systems at the Essen campus of the University of Duisburg-Essen. His research interests were: interorganizational information systems, production management, e-procurement, e-logistics, standardisation, and semantic web technologies. From April 2004 until February 2006, he worked at the Institute for Computer Science and Business Informations Systems (ICB) as a student sssistant and a tutor in the "Procurement, Logistics and Information Management" and "Systems Modelling" research areas. From July 2006 until September 2009, Christoph was a member of the Institute of Information Systems at Humboldt University, Berlin where he was conducting research on the Ko-RFID (Collaboration in RFID-based value chains) project. Christoph finished his Ph.D. in October 2009. From September until December 2009, he was an academic visitor at the Universität Cambridge, UK. End of February 2010, his book "RFID" was released by Springer. Since March 2010, Christoph works as an IT manager at a large retail company.
